mid-week update

My room is starting to feel more like home with flowers, gifts, things to do and my belongings.

The food is not so good here but I am thankful for what I have – I just really miss the home cooked meals from our friends and family that have provided for us during my first 8 weeks of bed rest at home.
My nurses are awesome and it feels right to be here in case Will or I need them. I was very thankful to be here last night; it was a little rough… I had some pretty bad contractions and my nurse had to give me a shot to stop them. Praise God, it worked pretty much right away and I’ve only had a few contractions today.
My next appointment is on Thursday. At this time, I am still able to get up to go to the bathroom and can shower every other day. I am also looking forward to starting some physical therapy; I have lost almost all of my muscle mass. It started about 2 weeks in and after almost 9 weeks on bed rest, there’s pretty much nothing left.
We met with NICU on Sunday, and it sounds like Will will be here until close to his due date no matter what.  So June 29th if not a bit sooner is when we look forward to him coming home with us until then, they have a room with a bed and TV if we chose to stay here after I am released from the hospital.
I will update again later this week. Many of you are wondering what you can do to help. Thank you so much for that, what we need are prayers and visitors. It’s pretty lonely here being away from Chris and Chelsea and it will be very difficult for Chris to come every day if we expect him to get anything done at home. So, if you are in the area and can pop in, shoot me a text. I would love to see you. And please do not bring any treats!!
