Happy Easter everyone! My
family will be visiting today and I hope you all spent the day with your loved
ones!
What’s Will up to? According to
Baby Center, he is about 14 1/2 inches long with his legs extended. He's
sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing his eyes, and
perhaps even sucking his fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's
brain is very active now. While his lungs are still immature, they would be
capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if he were born now.
Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby
hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few
moments, and they don't bother him, so just relax and enjoy the tickle.
Bed Rest/Hospital Stay: I had a
busy week with many visitors. I am so thankful for my family and friends, you
are all helping this time go by so quickly. I still have contractions quite a
bit once it gets closer to my next dose of medication so my nurses continue to
monitor me closely to make sure we don’t need to make changes with the timing
or the dosage.
Highlights: All the fun clothes,
toys and necessities we are receiving from friends and family, we are truly
blessed. Plus a surprise baby shower on Thursday night! I will add a separate post
about the shower soon.
My body: I am up a total of 20
pounds and 13“ on my tummy!
For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and
only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal
life.
John 3:16
